The next stop of the European Teqball Tour was held in Budapest, where the Brazilian superstar, World Champion, Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldinho and the former Hungarian national team footballer Krisztián Lisztes also appeared for a gala match. It is interesting that a player who strengthened the STEQERZ team also appeared on the side of Lisztes and Ronaldinho, in the person of Zoltán Gondos and Márton Keresztury.
Nearly 150 people entered the competition, of which 25 mixed doubles were formed.
In the end, regarding the selection, the final was established based on the paper form, according to which the first seeded Serbian pair Mitro/Umicevic and the second seeded couple Bakó/Vasas could fight for the gold medal after they saw off their French and Romanian opponents in the semi-finals.
In the end, Bakó and Vasas won in a close battle with a ratio of 12:11, 12:9, thus they were able to stand on the top step of the podium again after Marosvásárhely and Kraków.
Another interesting fact is that the Budapest competition was also the first qualifying round for the European Games to be held in Krakow in 2023.
